So I was planning to redownload psychonauts off the 360 Market Place but its nolonger there. Ive already bought the game from market place but I deleted and was gonna redownload it later. But I cant cause its not there. Anyone know why?

The publishing rights for Psychonauts transferred from Majesco back to the developer, Double Fine, back in mid-June. (Or at least that's when it was announced--obviously there was some legal wrangling yet to be finished.) Its disappearance may have something to do with that--maybe they have to renegotiate terms of sale with the Marketplace or something.

Oh, that's good news! Not that I expect another Psychonauts... Would be great though! I don't think Tim Schafer has any interest in the PC market anymore.

And this is why I dont like downloading games. Much better of keeping the physical games.

I think the problem isn't so much lack of interest as it is lack of funding. I remember reading a quote from Tim (or someone at Double Fine) saying that they'd port stuff like Costume Quest over in a heartbeat if they had the funds for it.



:shrug: With Steam, once I've bought a game I can download it forever, even if it goes walkabout from the store. People who purchased Crysis 2 before it got pulled from Steam are still able to download/install it, for instance. It's just that no one can purchase it anymore.

I'm really surprised the XBox Marketplace doesn't operate on the same principle, but then, I suppose it is Microsoft.

Check your download history. I've had them pull some stuff before, I had deleted them previously. It should still be in the history though.

Yes, he said so multiple times, one example http://www.gameranx.com/features/id/1543/article/trenched-interview-with-tim-schafer/. The THQ and Microsoft deals were strictly console-only, and Brütal Legend sold badly so EA didn't want a port. Shame, really.
