HH Purchased - Download VERY SMALL

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:01 am

Lots of missing meshes/nifs all over the place in my game now. Up to and including THE FLOORS in the Goodsprings General Store and the Saloon.

Load Order is set FalloutNV.esm/Dead Money.esm/Honest Hearts.esm....but it seemed like Steam didn't download much at all when it updated FONV after getting HH.

And given the amount of missing stuff I'd say somethings not right here at all.

There was a file validation failure and now it appears to be downloading a much larger amount of data I'm getting about 2.1mbps down and its only at around 10%, seems like on first purchase and update it just installed the esm and thats it.

What I'm trying to figure out is why the HH esm has altered the floors in use in Goodsprings though. Might just be a missing reference.

EDIT: I'm assuming this is about 900mb to 1GB in data size. Definitely not a 15MB DL like the first intial install was that just downloaded the esm.

The small 13MB file is like, a pre-patch patch to get the game ready for the DLC or something.

Be patient, and the 300MB one will download afterwards.

Yeah definitely validate if you get a very small install after purchase. This isn't a 15MB download at all.

After getting it all DL'd everythings back in place and now I'm getting the quest prompt when I load my save and the missing meshes are all back.

Only major problem is the SteamappID has changed so the 4GBNVSE loader isn't working any more. But everything else seems to function so it appears this one released with a minimum of screwing up other mods.

I exited steam completely and restarted it. a pop up about honest hearts came up, I re entered my date of birth and it started downloading a larger file. Try that.

The floors are not their own mesh, so missing floors is impossible. Not saying there isnt a problem, just saying that its not a missing mesh error.
