i'm not sure on how many that have heard about it, but there will be a whole hour of brink presentation on quakecon ( http://www.quakecon.org/gallery/livefeed.shtml ) and i was wondering if someone knew if it was pacific time or how many hours left until it will start?

The Presentation Starts At 11:00am but 12:00 eastern and 10:00 pacific

yes, they announced it. An SD forum member (Sponge) posted details about it, (and other things at the presentation) but the format that he wrote in is kinda confusing. This is what he said about pre-orders:

amazon and d2d pre-order bonusses:
diff char customizations: weapons+clothes
steam and walmart bonusses:
machine pistol, face mask, tattoo and scope
best buy bonusses:
fallout tattoos, vault boy weapon, vault 101 tattoo, vault T-shirts, doom guy!, cacodemon smg skin, UAC body armor shirt.

the earthquakers bit i don't understand, perhaps something about that was mentioned, but nothing else is known?

It could also mean Amazon, D2d, Steam and Walmart, all get the pistol, face mask, tattoo and scope.

Notice when he writes "amazon, d2d" he doesn't have an "and" he has a comma, like he is including Steam and Walmart. He just tried to type it as he heard it.
When he says:

{sponge} preorder brink and...
{sponge} diff char customizations
{sponge} preorder weapons, clothes

I think he is just giving a general rundown of what players get when they pre-order, regardless of where from.


Earthquakers is the Quake 3 clan that members in SD used to run in, before making games was a full time job. They were pretty good.

At the very least I am happy that they are going to have it on Steam.

mm, could be. but you agree that this seems to point out that buying via best buy would get you different bonusses?

Thats what I want to see as well. Also I am suprised I didnt see anything about pre order bonus for gamestop on that list.

yknow, they probz dont have the vault boy stuff, thats probz all fallout 3 stuff, after all, thats a bethesda product too

I couldn't watch the video because it was at 1:00 AM here in Australia
I'm crazy in love with brink though, and I've already looked at all the videos
and know everything there is to know about it at the moment and I really wanted to
watch the presentation, so any footage would be immensely appreciated.
