Quest-based conditions for items in containers?

I'm wondering if there is a way that doesn't involve complex scripting in papyrus to make an item only available in a container after a specific quest has been completed.

i know you can set quest-specific conditions for craftable items using the CTDA, so i was wondering if something similar can be done to LVLI's or containers. the only thing that seemed close was the use globals, but i dont know anything about it.


for example, the extra 1000 gold only shows up in merchant chests if the global perkMasterTrader is there. do i have to create my own global that does the same thing but based on quest completion instead? and how?
