Quest dialogue and voices not working

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 7:59 pm

Hello, I have created my quest dialogue and voices and implemented them into each topic. When i go into the game and talk to the NPC the quest dialogue does not appear and he just says the idle speech. I have also changed the idle speech but it doesn't seem to have worked.

Here are some screenshots of my quest:

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

That image shows us nothing, other than you've got 6 stages. Oops, didnt see the others

Make sure each topic has at least one condition - being "GetIsID (YourNPC) == 1"

I didn't see the other pictures so after checking them out, I'm not too positive. If you want your NPC to say a greeting, make it "blocking". Also make sure each topic is "top level" that will make the topic appear and selectable.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I'll try what you've said.

*EDIT* I've unsure on how to make it "blocking" when i click to make it blocking it says next to the response as an example: "<> Well met."

One thing you don't show is if the quest is running. Simplest is to mark it "Starts Enabled". If you don't want to do that, something needs to set a stage on it (which will cause it to start running).

In game, the console command SQV will tell you the quest's status:

sqv QUESTNAME
