Need help on "that lucky old sun"

I made it to the observation deck but I dont know where to find to Id card for the mister gutsy, one post said "the room with all the hostile robots" on an unrelated thread, does that mean the room with the four protectrons? Ive looked up and down and dont see it...

I was able to find the key behind a locked door somewhere at the bottom of the tower, I didnt need it though, my repair is super high

I never found the ID card either. You can repair the generator yourself with a repair score of 35 (I think). The robot has no other use that I am aware of (you cannot turn it on after repairing the generator).
