Got a bit bored so I decided to drop everything my character had from his inventory out in the desert, minus the things that are quest items and can not be removed.

I currently have 5 snowglobes, each weighing 1.00 each, Loyal's Detenator weighing 0.50 and 2 Deployable Ballasts that weigh 5.00 each. These are all quest items and can not be dropped or removed, sold etc.

My characters weight is showing 0/300.

Not exactly game breaking but surely a technical issue of some sort.

Quest items that can't be dropped never have weight in these games. If they did, my poor character would be rooted to the ground with all the undroppable crap in her inventory.

Yeah I got tons of other quest items like certain faction dogtags....but they cleary state having a weight of 0 or -- when I highlight them. Those snowglobes clearly state 1.00 weight when I highlight them. And so do those 2 quest releated Deployable Ballasts that show a weight of 5.00 each.

My characters weight limit should show a weight of 15/300

I stole the Van Graff armor out of that box outside the Silver Rush BEFORE they gave me a borrow set for their mission. So at one point in time, I had two. After they took their copy back, I had the original in my inventory and could not drop it.

It says it weighs 25 lbs, but of course, weighs nothing. More than anything, I just want it out of my inventory.

You might try repairing another set of armor with the Van Graff armor. I have the black Van Graff armor from the caravan that was attacked near Dr. U something and it is droppable and has weight. I got stuck with Contrerras medical supplies as undroppable but then consumed them by accident and lost 10 lbs. I wish diets in real life were that easy.

I did the same thing, if you haven't finished doing their quests, do that, if you don't want to work with them, kill them. That's all that can be done about that.
