Quest Problemm

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 2:41 am

Ok, at the second main quest in the game whew you got to talk to Avalor in riverwood, something went wrong. All of a sudden they started attacking me so I killed them, since he is dead I can't talk to him, thus I am unable to complete the quest. How do I fix this?

Thanks!

The only time a friendly so to speak ncp should attack you is if you attack them first or you get caught trying to pick pocket them, breaking into there house or stealing from things they have left lying around outside. But I'd do as advises and reload before this happened.

I suggest the same thing. Load a prior save. And please keep your hands in your own pockets.

You could also look under magic /active effects and see if you've managed to contract vampirism. That can make the npc get upset although usually not happening so early on (you have to fight with a vampire or in previous games eating vampire dust could too, not sure now.)

Go to load and select one maybe 15-30 mins before the incident happened. It should have the run time of the save on it.

Come on patches! So far I have 2 glitched quests. The one to investigate the murder in the graveyard. I have the lil white arrow but it does nothing. Then, repairing the white phial, don't have a briar heart in your inventory when you read the letter from the courier or this one glitches. It is even a known problem since it is listed on wiki. Why is it not fixed yet?
