I just entered Azura's star in order to free it from Malyn Varen's soul. Everything was going just fine untill those guys started throwing fireballs at me, since I am a vampire, I have a 25% reduced fire resistanse, but I drank a potion which increased it by 20%. Also, Im playing as an assassin. I tried to stealth, but I was detected without a second for them to look for me(that could be expected to reduce the level of faceroll). What I did NOT expect was to get oneshot by the first Daedra guy in there. So now you might wonder, why this guy is posting this thread, I simply wonder if there is an easier way of doing this(and please dont say I should give the star to that mage guy, because it is too late for that). I looked at a video of a guy doing the quest but the fireballs didnt do very much damage to him, and it seemed like Malyn Varen helped him attack them, though that could just be my imagination, he might be playing on lower difficulty since I am currently at Master level, however, I would like to keep playing on Master because if I lower it once, I will just do that whenever I get to a difficult place.

Oh and giving the star to the other guy still requires you to do that part.

I havent found any reduced fire damage enchants, so that might be a little hard :S. Thanks for telling me that the other guy also makes me remove his soul from the star, kept me from wondering if I should have gone the other way

Scrolls. Staves that summon things to fight for you. Resist fire potions. Find a spot where you can shoot with a bow and their fireballs (which have a bigger radius) can't come through to hit you.

There is lots of fire resist gear around too.

Well, it's the spoiler section here so here it goes

- One of the standing stone signs gives you magic resistance, the Lord I think
- Do the quest chain to get the "Agent of Mara" permanent buff in the temple of Mara for some more
- If you didn't do that yet, do Hircine quest and chose the option that gives you the Savior's Hide

All those three give you quite a lot of magic resist with close to no effort. The 4th option is a little trickier since it's "Play a Breton" Add in one or two more sources of resist magic and you are set.

Make use of your dragon shouts. Time slow and fus do rah really helps.

If you can kill Malyn, you'll be rescued from the dimension without having to kill the draemora. You still havta survive the blasting they give you, but if you can drink some potions and rush the main baddie you can probably survive.

Interesting fight this one.

As Lydia was not there with me, i conjured my flame atronach to distract the dremoras and slowly working my way to the boss.
Kept dpsing and healing and re-potting and re-conjuring. Flame atronach really helped alot in this fight for me at least.

Didn't use any of the above ways to improve magic resist, tho i am playing a breton.
