Question about dragon bone weapons

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:29 am

So I've read that if you join dawnguard you get access to new weapons and armor. But in this dlc we also know that there are new weapons called dragon bone weapons. So my question is can you only create/use the dragon bone weapons if you join the dawnguard?

No, Dragonbone weapons should have been in the Vanilla game, they'll be for everyone.

Dragonbone weapons will be added to the already existing section of Smithing.

The weapons should really be released with an update accompanying the DLC and not just with the DLC because dragon weapons should have been in the game in the first place.

Also heard that the dragon bone weapons are better than daedric weapons. And i also wonder if there is going to be a dragon bone sword, dagger, shield, etc. just like other classes of weapons

I just hope the dragon bone weapons look more aesthetically pleasing than the armor.

There are already dragonbone shields in the game. They look slightly like a giant tooth. :)

I thought the lore said that Daedric was the best possible quality weapon type though. I think dragon weapons should be faster and lighter, to make up for less damage than Daedric.

Wait if I already used all my perks and I filled my Smithing tree will I still get this? I mean they'd just change Dragon Armor to Dragon Smithing?

If you invested in the Dragon Armor perk, all the weapons mentioned above will be added to it. Dawnguard is an expansion for a reason.

Yes. Dragonbone Arrows, Battleaxes, Bows, Daggers, Greatswords, Maces, Swords, and War Axes.
Does that mean we can craft arrows of all kinds now? Because that should have been implemented in vanilla anyway.

That would be the logical thing to do, so hopefully it will be how they do it.

I don't know anything about that, but it would be logical.

Well I hope the Dragon Weapons get added to the random loot lists also so my characters that don't do the Smithing perks can still get some.

Did you even see them? Because then your criticism would be consistent.

That's really down to opinion. I think the dragonbone weapons look far better than the armour.

To me that's not to hard to do :P I hate the look of Dragonbone Armor, the Scale armor isn't bad though.
