I play on the PS3 (My family is poor, our computer is old), I've heard that followers don't level up with me but instead are on a set level dependant on what level I meet them. And to simply fix this for non pc users, I have to use the Wabbajack on the follower of my choosing to level them up.

So my question is, how do I go on doing this? Do I need them to be following me or not following me?

1. Save first as this can make the follower hostile sometimes
2. Equip and ready the Wabbajack
3. Dismiss the follower
4. Immediately hit them with the Wabbajack until the follower changes into something.
5. When they return to normal, they will be leveled to your current level, within their range. Some followers have a maximum level.
6. Rehire them


I forget if you have to hit them again with the Wabbajack to make them come back or if they pop back to normal after a moment.

I thought you punched em with a bare fist? This is what I do and they revert back after one punch.( best to do it bare fisted )

For grins I will give it a try.

They will return to normal eventually. Of course, if they turned into something hostile, you'll have to endure their attacks for a bit. My worst one so far is a dremora lord! That was an unexpected bit of excitement.
