While I normally do not like it either, I think a desert is the place to have it. Assuming that maybe there can also be lobster like monsters that can nip away a few fingers.

No.

Dual wielding doesn't even make sense in most of the games where it is portrayed, shooting a gun is difficult enough using both hands, as seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD-KaUl_olo
Some of the weapons people think can be used to "dual wield" would literally break your arm/wrist if you attempted to fire even one with one hand.

Knuckle dusters are dual wield kinda,

Must admit it would of been cool to have two death claw gauntlets in FO3. :toughninja:

It's just weird that they show a perk where Pip Boy has a pistol in each hand...?

While it is impractical and pointless, most probably would hurt you. I don't think that was a wrex i think that was a 600 nitro elephant gun without a muzzle break and i am willing to be he has broken bones with how improperly he was holding it. http://zebraniner.blogspot.com/2007/12/557-t-rex-rifle-video-enclosed.html It is fun to take a FAL (.308 assault rifle) and put some lead downrange, but you do it once and move on (okay maybe i do shoot two deagles at same time, but wouldn't you?)

Although I'm not really for dual wielding, I think there should be a weapon called like 'Dual Cowboy Repeaters' or something. Or just have the ability to dual wield Cowboy Repeaters and only Cowboy Repeaters. It's set in the desert after all, and I'd love to face a guy with a cowboy hat on, cowboy boots on, and charging at me firing two pistols into the air and yelling YEE-HAW!!

The proper cowboy way to do it is to simply have multiple loaded revolvers to resolve the issue of having to reload. Not so you can fire simultaneously. You still only fire one at a time.

But there is a love for Roland in me.

There's a weapon "brass or spiked knuckles" called Love and Hate, one for each hand.

in the real world people do not hold a pistol sideways one handed and expect to hit anything

Automatic-pistols can be dual wield IRL, Very light SMGs (P90, etc) too.
But what if It was in the game, I think it would require at least 7 of Strength to have enough accuracy to kill someone without ripping your arms off.
