A Question About non essential Vampires

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 6:56 pm

Ok now iv been looking all over for info on this but cant find anything, so does anyone know if the vampires that dwell in broken fang cave and such (the ones that will attack the dragonborn on site) will still attack a vampire lord. i always found it annoying in oblivion aswell when i was a vampire and would be attacked by the other vampires. anyone know? or any predictions...

I was just thinking about this a little bit ago. Would help with the immersion if you ran across a vampire den and they treated you different if you are a vampire lord. Not necessarily friendly but very apprehensive and fearful.

They should make you their leader and spoil you with treasure.

Yeah i think it would be a nice touch and adds a community to be part of. i feel thats kinda missing in the game. being a dark elf i wanted to be accepted into the windhelm dunmer community and share there plight and feel hated by the nords but accepted by my dunmer bretheren (maybe some lil side quests)

They are vampire clans. If a clan attacks you will have to defend yourself. It's eye for an eye. And when a huge and powerfull vampire tries to talk to you, you wouldn't try to reason with him. It's horror movies rule number one. If you try to reason with the bad guy you will die.

Probably because if you're a regular vampire they still attack you.

It would be awesome if they reacted to you in some unique way, whether they prostrate or kneel or freak out and seem afraid as if they are forced to attack you, I hope being a massive 7 foot tall bat demon is something people, especially vampires and werewolves, would remark on.

I am not holding my hopes, but then again I was amazed at all the dynamic remarks NPCs made in Skyrim based on your actions and choices.

I created my future vampire last night.

He is an Imperial from Cyrodil, given to assassination and thieving, my first Dark Brotherhood character, he will dabble a little in magic but not until he is somehow turned into a vampire, which I don't know how this will happen yet

I've never played a law breaking bad character in Skyrim, it's a lot of fun.

i made mine too. took A LOT of planning.

He is a dark elf. (to off set the fire weakness a bit)
always a good guy, even tho he is sneaky, he uses one handed swords, bows, and magic. is the harbinger of the companions and is working toward becoming arch-mage. He considers Solitude his home and after becoming tired of the court wizard's attitude, he asked whats wrong. she gives him a mission to kill some vamps and he agrees. She didnt expect him to return but to her surprise, he did...been feeling sick ever since....

he has a dislike for vampires and hunts them but has become worried that he will become one soon.
are there any vampires that hunt vampires?

Most of the vampires seem to have a place in some sort of hierarchy, which could suggest that they're in a form of clan. Most clans tend to fight, so I'm not hugely surprised that they turn on outsiders. Particularly as most outsiders try and kill them on sight.
