Question about number of DLC's for FNV?

Post » Wed Jun 29, 2011 4:25 pm

Hi, new here, just wondering if there is only going to be 4 DLC's for FNV?
i read 6 a while ago, has that changed? or is 6 still the plan?

thanks.

(BTW- i LOVED "Dead Money", while playing it i HATED it! but now looking back i thought it was very challenging and had a good storyline, i can see why some people despised it though.)

As far as we know right now there will only be 4 DLCs at the moment (Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road), maybe they will make more if the next 2 are a giant hit and maybe they wont.

Because I know everything about anything there is to know. I'm magical.

BTW, I'm kidding. I don't really know but it seems logical that there aren't going to be anymore DLCs.

Most likely Lonesome Road is the last one but they could possibly release another one after Lonesome Road. I don't see it happening though.

It means that when you pre-ordered the game, you got one of four various gamepacks depending on the store from which you made the purchase. Each pre-order pack is considered a DLC.

I believe he's refering to the 4 pre order bonuses the classic, caravan, tribal, and mercanary packs that you got from pre order from various stores. As for the dlc theres only been 4 confirmed and I think that's all we'll see they've supported the game for nearly a year and are probably ready to start scaleing up production on fallout 4.

Actually, Bethesda are likely to handle Fallout 4 and that won't see any serious work beyond early design and setup until Skyrim is released.

As for Obsidian, they'll have their own projects to handle.

Once they put out Lonesome Road, they are done with this game for good.

I doubt they will continue to update bug fixes with this game once LR is released. They will put out the pre-OWB patch, and definitely one for LR trophies, but after that, they will probably just quit supporting this game. Am I wrong in assuming once Rage, and Skyrim comes out most players of this game will be moving onto one or both of those games? I know I am planning on getting both.

They'll put out the GOTY/Gold/Special/...whatever... edition of the game with all the DLCs included, around the begining of December. Maybe there will be some sort of final patch with that. But I'd be surprised if any more DLCs were released after LR.

Not every Fallout fan is a TES fan. I for one don't really like the fantasy genre. And I know there are others out there like me. But Rage does intrigue me.
