Question about Skyrim

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:52 pm

Hello Friends! :)

Im new in Skyrim, i do not play Oblivion so, i dont know many things about Bethesda.
I've tried another Forum but the people do not have patience with me! Please, if it is possible!

:) So, lets start: The game has some extra content? I buy it from Steam, but not Pre Order.

And i know, the community make modifications for the game, any "Mod" is paid? will be always free?
I find , Bethesda plans to launch a DLC for Skyrim but this DLC will be avaliable for PC? or only for xbox , ps3 ?
How many dlcs? have in mind?

And about the DLCS, they're clothes, armor, places? small things and separately?

Thank you and sorry for anything! Have a good day and bye :D.

There are no extras at this time. Creation Kit for PC and the next patch will be released later this month, if all goes well.

DLC will be released on X-Box one month before its released on the other platforms -- pretty stupid deal they made with Microsoft, imo.

All mods for Skyrim must by law be provided for free -- unless I am totally mistaken.

Don't worry too much about DLC timing or distribution: Skyrim is a HUGE game with LOADS of quests, people and places !

I have a sneaking suspicion... There was another thread like this, the author asked the exact same questions, used no grammar and called everybody "Friend". He ignored the answers and kept asking the same questions all over again. His posts looked SO MUCH like these.
But maybe I'm just paranoid.

Not by Law per say, but by EULA. Anyway, as you stated, no one can legally charge for mods. Mod hosting sites can charge for access, as long as they have free access available to everyone. For example, Skyrim Nexus has a two tiered membership, free gives slower downloads and paid gives faster downloads and no ads.

Hi, have a fishy stick.

Bethesda will release dlcs for all three platforms.
They promised to make the dlcs bigger so you won't see single item pieces ALONE.
They will propably come with new landscape to explore.

And mods will always be free.

Ho Ho! Very nice =). Cant wait to play this game again.
Hey, the principal site of Modifications is Nexus? so, i understand. Mods always will be free , you only pay for download the content more faster.

Any MOD is official? Make for Bethesda or helped by?

This is the positive point of Bethesda! Im happy to know everyone have the same game. Mods is an exeption and free, we can download with no costs. Dont see any pre order offer for a WONDERFULL game is "impossible". Agree with me?
Bethesda... thanks! :D
