Question about the Nord racial frost resistance buff. : V

So i just started the game, left Helgen and made it to Riverwood, and under the active effects section of the magic menu I do not see the Nord frost resistance... is it not supposed to be there?

Yeah, it should be there.

Did you use showracemenu to adjust your character? If so, it cancels active affects. You have to exit the game and reload to fix it.

btw since no one answered me before does using showracemenu turn u into a Nord in the NPCs eyes even if u level race six presets untoyched??!! and u are NOT a nord

This is a good question. I use showracemenu regularly to change the look of my characters and normally I would have said no but just yesterday an NPC commented to my Breton using a Nord reference so now I'm not so sure. I'll be keeping an eye on this from now on.
