Question About The Number of Hours You've Played

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:35 am

I often see people commenting on how many hours they played with a character for. I was just wondering how you find that out. Is it on the General Stats page? Because I don't see it there.

Go to your "load game" screen and highlight each seperate character (if you have more than one) and wait a couple of seconds for the play time to display. At least that's how you do it for PS3. Probably the same for 360 users.

That will tell you your "play time." Your actual time playing a character may be more if you reloaded a bunch for times after getting killed or something.

I go to the load screen and just add the amount of hours that's displayed for each toon. Under your toons name in the load screen it shows hours played, date and time of save.

For PC, the total time played is right there in the Steam library window. This is total play time, though. Not character play time. I'm up to about 300 hours on one character but starting to lose interest. Archery bugs, killcam bugs, the tedium of crafting and lack of quest rewards, etc.

True, but I save very often so on the occassions I've died, it's only been a few minutes since the last save. I don't worry about calculating dying time into my overall play time, as it would only add up to less than an hour.
