A question about Whiterun and A Night to Remember. Warning c

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 9:08 pm

So I did some searching, but for the life of me couldn't find a definite answer to my questions. The first one: Does Whiterun ever get repaired after the civil war quest? I've seen yes and no and I just want to get a definite answer, to see if I should restart or not.

And the second: I finished a Night to Remember and Sangunie is now walking around Morvunskar. What I want to know is does him walking around mess up the game in any big way?

I just wanted to see the answer to these questions, to see if I should just restart the game. Though If Whiterun never gets rebuilt and Sangunie walking around isn't game breaking, then I don't see the need to restart.

Thanks for any and all help, and I'm truly sorry if I missed a thread already asking these questions.

I asked about the damage and Serethil posted that after over a game year on one of her characters the damage from the civil war is still there.

I think Sanguine is in Morvunskar after 1.4 patch because there was no way to exit the Misty Grove and you'd be trapped in there if you revisited it after A Night to Remember had been completed.

Thanks for the answers! I really didn't want to start a new character, and knowing that Whiterun never gets repaired and it's not a bug is great news. I take it Sanguine doesn't cause too much trouble being in Morvunskar. I had to go back in there for another quest, and if anything he helped me.

*shrug* I kept the game open on one screen and just ran the clock through 24 hours over and over ad infinitum ad nauseam while I was doing client site updates. It wasn't like it was a really hard thing to accomplish.

Yeah, he seems to be more of an Imp than a menace. :P

So far I've only done the civil war on one character, and backed the Stormcloaks. Whiterun recovers from the random fires quickly, but Sergio Pelagia's house (across from Belethor's emporium) remains burned out.
