When you guys get the creation kit and etc will you guys be able to use that or could try to fix the texture problems we console players get if we sent you one of our save files. Because I know a few people were sending there save files to this guy an he was fixing the thieves guild quest for them.

Probably best to ask in modding forum. Switching bytes in a save to move a quest along is probably very different from missing or bad textures though, that's usually a sign of something missing or the hardware hitting the wall. Only Beth can fix that without doing things MS doesn't want you to do.

Nope. Gonna have to make a different choice next generation if you want any of that.

And frankly, I doubt there's a "low resolution" bug. It's probably what Beth had to do to get it to run.

From what I've seen it looks like a PC game from 2004 running on something between mid and high end hardware at the time, which is what your platform is built on.

I didnt say I did want that I was just asking and with having bills an a child I couldn't dish out dollars every were for a high end computer. And no it is because up until patch 1.2 my game looked amazing.

I didn't download 1.2 instead I installed patch 1.1 on my USB drive with my skyrim saves an installed the game to the USB an ever since my game don't look like what it used to. I even cleared the cache an uninstalled then reinstalled the game an didn't help.

Understandable.

The different texture resolution is probably just a texture streaming system a la Mass Effect and RAGE where Skyrim decides which textures need loaded full resolution and which ones don't.

Beth can tweak it and probably did, but it's a "feature" I'm afraid, even if it's performing below par. Any proposed or released changes to said system are forum ban territory, I'm afraid.

We wouldn't know where to start anyway. The "feature" isn't even in our version of the game. All textures are loaded at full res all of the time unless the game is explicitly told not to, at which point they're all loaded at a predefined resolution, not variable like with texture streaming.

I understand what your saying it's just irritating how my game looked like the trailers an what not an now they don't. Like my argonians left hand looks great the armor he wears around his wrist looks like crayon drawings then his tight hand looks good but my sword looks like some one colored with a permanent marker on it when I kill something.

The hide or fur in bandit camps hanging up look like a sheet of paper an some one colored on it. I mean for every one thing that does load a bazillion other things look like poop. So I just happen to ask what I did cause I was curious.

Sorry, modifying anything for a console is against the EULA, we can't do it.

For things like fixing quests that are stuck, it would be pretty easy for us to do because all we have to do is load your save, use a command to force the quest to advance, save it again and send it back. Technical problems with things like textures would probably be impossible to fix, at least in any way that could be transferred back to the Xbox version. I would be surprised if the texture problems even showed up when the save is loaded on the PC; it's not something anyone ever encounters with the PC version, and it's probably related to something that Bethesda did specifically for the Xbox version, like a performance optimization of some sort.
