What is the purpose of transfer supplies? I can't even envision a tactical scenario where I think, "Hmmm, it's probably better to give this away than to, say, revive somebody or buff their health."
I would imagine there's a purpose since it's a skill they put in the game, but what that purpose is, I do not know.
As for being out of supplies, I've never noticed this indicator color change you speak of, but I think that should be more clearly communicated within the tutorials or challenges so people understand what's going on. I would've never realized that if you hadn't said something. And I always feel really guilty about being out of supplies even when I'm throwing rezs out left and right, like it's my fault my team can't stop dying.
As for the other skills, I've really enjoyed using Adrenaline on engy's and operatives trying to do objectives. There's really nothing like watching the other team in a futile attempt to kill an operative as he gets that last few % hacked and then keels over dead, presumably with a big grin on his face. And then he probably explodes, as I've been told that's a thing they like to do.
I have another question though... Metabolism.
I tend to buff health when we're making a push on offense and use Metabolism when we're on defense in a reasonably defensible position. It seems like if we're hunkering down, it's more beneficial to recover faster from damage than have that extra one or two pips of health. Writing that now, I'm not even sure why that logic makes sense, but it has seemed to work OK when I've tried it. What do you guys use Metabolism for, if anything?
Finally, while I'm covering every single skill... I totally understand the use of the sprint speed buff, but to me it's a bit of a waste. I'd rather get a few people to the objective as a group, with buffed health, than have a couple of people arriving there faster and either having to wait for more backup or getting gunned down. Or us all getting there, but I have no supplies left to rez by the time I arrive. It just seems like you have to have been killed and respawn with enough people, that all actually wait for you to buff them, for the few seconds you shave off to be all that useful. Has anybody seen this be a major boon to winning?
