LAA is code within the TESV.exe file so it's automatic. Also, 64-bit operating systems can handle RAM better than 32-bit can.

Osculim: please read here: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1336239-ctd-save-file-size-2/

I also link to the original thread in my opening post... I'm not sure if this is your problem but if your game was running just fine for a long time and you just started seeing problems this could be your cause... if that's the case it has nothing to do with LAA at all and enabled or not it won't fix it sadly... If a new game works just fine then this is probably what your'e seeing....it's something that effects those who play extensivly on one character.....

Have you enabled it in the OS?

Not really recommend though, but you can try it.
How much RAM do you have?

Is there a reason you're using win7's 32bit version? In case whoever sold it to you neglected to mention this: You can acquire a 64bit install disk for win7 and that key will work with it (Microsoft purposely allows this).

yup.... just make sure you match the version your using..

you cannot install and use a OEM cd key on a retail installer... nor can you use a Retail cd key on a OEM installer..

While it's technically NOT ILEGAL to go download any of the microsoft windows versions with whatever service pack intergrated already be it retail or oem...... what is ilegal is distribution of cd keys..

I can post a link to a ISO here... but i cannot post a link to an ISO that has a cd key or pre-activation hack included.

Oh hrm, that's likely a tall order. Contact Microsoft support directly, if anyone knows of a solution it'd be them.

I can contest this statement.

I bought an OEM version off Newegg for $100 and was able to use the key with a non-OEM version.

The stipulation is if it were a branded OEM disc, like what comes with a DELL or HP computer.

Previously with windows VISTA.... it didn't matter if the oem version was direct from microsoft or from dell/hp/compaq/acer/toshiba or not..

you could not do it.

With windows 7... it seems to be a hit and miss.... I recently tried to use a OEM direct from microsoft disk on a machine with a retail cd key and it resulted in a cd key mismatch issue, requiring me to get the retail version of the disk.

This may have been fixed with SP1 versions of the disks ....

I have heard mixed reports otherwise... but i know for a fact this still applies to vista even with sp2 disks... And the few attempts i've done with win7 disks has been unsuccesful.... though it's getting rarer and rarer to see retail verison floating about since everyone is picking up OEM disks from everywhere.

Oki seems all my problems are solved. the legal download of the 64bit windows from digital river works with any licences key you might have you just need to use it in the control panel instead of while installing.
Also 64bit solved all my problems i can use all my mods without so much as one crash. And no funny purple textures either.

Thanx to everyone for the advice and comments im a happy camper once again :)
