A question on Reflections

I generally do not post often, but there is something I have been seriously wondering about for some time. Does the engine for skyrim(or even Oblivion for that matter) allow for the creation and use of mirrors. Actual working mirrors, now it may sound foolish but there's several mod ideas I'd like to play with, that would include these things. I have seen them in a few other games, more notably Two Worlds 2 there were only a few in the game, and they're in interior cells and. Now I understand for oblivion this is not exactly possible/easy. But with Skyrim and it's new engine and scripting language, I'm wondering if it's even at all possible.

I don't think so. You can get refraction through water, and sort of reflections, but I don't believe you could just create a mirror. Then again, perhaps with the right properties in nifskope it could be done...

I know with Oblivion that was an issue, but with skyrim having what seems a little more powerful engine and scripting.. I'd have thought it'd be possible

True. And they did just update the entire system of going underwater so it FINALLY works well without just looking broken and stupid. Perhaps it will be possible. Sorry I can't be of more help.
