What kind of Performance can be expected from a stock I7 2600k 8 gigs of ram and a EVGA gtx680 superclock video card when it comes to using the High res mods and other mods as well?

Should run fine. I run the game at very high settings with a my PC much less powerful. Of course, many people are reporting issues running the game smoothly (though much of that, I believe is nitpicking).
