Sense I figured out you can be a Vampire Lord as a Dawnguard. I was wondering which form is more powerful and fun. Please comment

It's preference really, it's up to you to decide which is more fun. As for powerful... I've been hearing that even though Werewolfs are now minigods, Vampire Lords are equal strength as well.

I personally prefer playing as a werewolf.
I just wish I could stay as a werewolf for as long as I wanted and morph in and out of the form whenever I pleased.

I do have the ring of hircene but it isn't as good as I hoped it would be.

Really? It isn't a glitch it is MEANT to be a timer. Werewolves control when the change that's enough. Plus just have Ring Of Hircine and change over and over. Vampire Lords have control because they aren't ridiculous beasts. They speak, and remember everything. At least you control when to change, just be greatfull Bethesda didn't make it so you changed every night.

I like being the werewolf better, and the werewolf is stronger IMO. I can kill things and people a lot easier than with the vampire lord's weak spells. (the claws are good though) The only problems are the timer, not being able to control when you revert back to human form like vampire lord, and multiple transformations a day. (Ring of Hircine fixes that)

niether. im a nord and want to ascend to Sovngarde. Both prevent me from doing so lol.

The Werewolf is essentially a melee Glass Cannon. They can do a [censored]ton of damage real quick, but they can also be killed easily, especially if their mobbed, particularly Archers.
Vampire Lords do less damage than Werewolves, but they can survive through a lot more.

I'm torn between the two now it used to be hands down werewolf but now I like the vampire lord just as much if not a little more but that might be due to the fact I've overplayed the werewolf. Plus I like how VL gives you those BA eyes. Wish you could actually get the silver eyes for having wolfs blood

Hey, I'm getting dawnguard and im thinking of being a vamp hunter and a werewolf, but I killed Aela and thus cannot get the totems. So most of the perks are pointless. So my question is should I be werewolf or vampire?
