Question: "What era Year does Skyrim take place--begin?&

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 7:15 pm

I have searched the Wiki, but have come away more confused. Does anyone know the actual date that Skyrim and the Dragonborn takes place? Any help would be appreciated. (I am trying to write a back story of my Nord Character.) Thank you.

I believe if you access your menu, the date and time is stated at the bottom of the screen.

Here's a handy timeline of The Elder Scrolls history:

If you want to see where the previous games took place, look just before the 4th Era.
