I'm currently trying to add some food/drink items to the game, have got the items to show in Skyrim where I want them to with their new names, cost in gold, health/stamina benefits and so forth, but I just have 2 quick questions:

1) Say I walk into an inn and want to buy one of these new items off the innkeeper, how would I get the items to show up in the innkeeper's selling list?

2) Is there a way to change the actual appearance of an item to add custom textures or writing to it? Say for example, if I wanted to put a label onto an ale bottle and have the label show the new name of the ale, or change the colour of the bottle or whatever. Is this possible or would I need some kind of external program to do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

you need to edit that particular mechant's container to add the item to their inventory


to add a new texture you need to either editin photoshop or other image editor

I haven't dealt with editing containers yet as such, so I'll have a look into that. Just needed a pointer in the right direction. Thanks for the reply.
