2 Questions, Debuging and saving

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 12:38 pm

Hi all, I have currently finished my first mod, and believe it should work without any issues, But something is not triggering and I am unsure as to how to debug it from in game (It is a house decoration upgrade), That's Q1.

Q2, When I edit the dialogue, It comes up with * next to the name to show it has been changed, I would expect that once saved or append the * should disappear to show that changes have been saved. But even if I save, Close and re-open it still appears there is pending changes with the *. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thank you.

Post up the scripts and we can help you with the triggering. * indicates an entry that you've edited. It will forever remain in your ESP or ESM to indicate what has been edited.

Its more dialogue than it is script, the only script in there is the exact copy of another script but with its reference object changed to a different xMarker. I copied the xMarker directly from another and changed its editor ID. the script enables the marker, by default its off. Once I get home I will paste out the script but I am pretty sure its all correct. Also thank you for the information about *, to used to programming IDE's :)
