This seems to happen at random times during my game. Sometimes, it occurs within the first 10 hours of play, other times upwards of 40 hours. Occurs with both a vanilla skyrim and modded skyrim.

For whatever reason some quests just vanish in the quest log. It always occurs at the bottom, meaning the lowest level active quest(s) vanish first; this is accompanied by the lowest completed quest(s) disappearing - obviously unbound is the first to vanish.

File integrity comes up with no errors. Furthermore, I have googled a bit, but found nothing definitive. Is there an answer somewhere I am missing? A fix perhaps?

* Mind you, when the active quests disappear they are still active ie I can go complete a step and that quest will now appear at the top of the active list. Eventually though, the bottom quest will vanish from the active list and over time, the bulk of my completed quests will vanish.

The quests just disappear. I keep no more than 5 or 6 on my active list and either complete or avoid misc quests as I am trying to replicate this to see whats up.

I am wagering it is a #'s thing, as it typically only occurs in games where i have completed the 20 TG quests to open fences. And since I usually do that beginning at level 2 or 3 it has happened every time. I am now playing and won't do any quests outside of a handful (dragon's rising, word walls from greybeards etc) to see if it is in fact an issue with too many quests being done.

It really is only an aesthetics thing, but with my OCD it makes it unbearable. Although a good reason to start over, but those 20 TG quests get repetitive real quick each restart ~
