Quick/autosave fix

(Sorry if this has been posted before but I didn't see it in the last 5 pages)

Easy fix for this right now is to just play with steam in offline mode.

open steam

select "Steam" at the top and pick "Go Offline"

It'll ask you to restart steam, do so. Then start the game like normal and from then on your saves will override the old ones like they should. This might also fix the options resetting but I haven't tested it for that. I also don't know how it will handle achievements in offline mode. I haven't played long enough to get one as I wanted to fix this before I got too far into the game.

What has happened is Steam has disabled the Steam Cloud. As even folks like me who had that feature disabled for this game and all others and playing off line and storing credentials locally it was still doing it. They are looking into this matter and when the announcement is made we will tell you.

I am going to close this as we have a discussion on this already. :)
