Quick which game do i buy?! : Othor Games

ok so i'm going to gamestop tomorrow and i need a game to buy for 20 dollars or less for the xbox 360. any suggestions?

NOTE GAMES I HAVE.

Halo 3 and Halo Reach.

Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood [i won't get AC 2 because i'd rather my mom not give me an hour lecture about games with six :rolleyes: I'M 17 DANGIT!!!!

Virtua Fighter 5.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.

Alan Wake.

Gears of War and Gears of War 2.

i was thinking about Oblivion or Ninja Gaiden II.

I would say Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Because I am, at heart, a Gears of War fanatic.

I suggest GTA IV, best GTA game I've played, there's six, but you see nothing, not THAT much blood, just a lot of violence. But if your mom doesn't like those kinds of games...well, your 17 damn it!

meh i always wanted gta when i was younger but i played it at a friends house and i didn't really like it :shrug:

if you were thinking of getting Oblivion i say hell to the yes. Oblivion is a great game. If they have Morrowind i'd say get that first though if you dont have it. IMO Morrowind is the better game to start with. both are great games. but i find it hard to get back into Morrowind after playing Oblivion because in Morrowind you have to think for yourself. they give you directions instead of a magic compass. still both are great games.

isn't that for the original xbox? if so i don't have xbox live so i can't get the patch that let's you play original xbox games. so plus one vote for Oblivion.

Well, you can always get Morrowind for PC as well. Most game stores should still carry the GOTY edition; I know the Best Buy right near me does. If you're posting on a PC, chances are you can play it.

Just a note if you pick Oblivion GOTY, you won't be able to play the dlc without a patch from xbox live.

How cheap is Darksiders now?

Edit : Genre, plays a bit like Zelda OoT, but you are War ( yes, one of the Four Horseman ), and it's set in a world tuned to hell, literally.

it was three guys. but is it worth it without xbox live and being alone?

You do know you can get patches off live through your pc? All you need is an ethernet cable.

Not exactly sure, as I am on a Mac, so quite complicated for me, had to use terminal to find the IP addresses and manually set them on the Xbox, I would assume it's a lot easier on a Windows PC.

There is an official New Vegas patch on live, apparently it was causing lots of problems, but I think they fixed it back in April.

I thought you meant games you were interested in... And no sir I am not. I may be a fanatic, but I am not spending that kind of money on a game. I am a fanatic for the game/lore, not the merchandise.
