When I enter the game, the quicksave slot has the first quicksave I ever took (around the 20 minute mark). I can F5 and F9 to save and load new ones during play, but it resets back once I exit. My regular saves are working fine, and persist between sessions. I even tried manually deleting the quicksave and making another one, but it still reset it back to my default. Any ideas? PC version, DVD-installed, Steam-registered.

The last patch was supposed to have fixed this. (I just grabbed it myself 20 minutes ago but have yet to play much.) Are you all patched up? If you have Steam in offline mode you will not be. Otherwise I guess it didn't work.

This happens to me too.... also Steam.
It would reload quicksaves from a completely different character... even if I manually deleted every save file before starting a new game.
I finally discovered that if I deleted the files inside Steam/Userdata/ BunchOfNumbers/remote I could then quicksave normally.
Try that.

I tried this (deleting autosave.fos and quicksave.fos), only to get them permanently replaced by the next respective auto and quick saves I had; like the ones I originally reported, they persisted after game restarts. But then, after no further intervention or patches, they became unstuck after several play sessions. The problem is resolved. Thanks for the pointer!
