I bought a new PC today and due to the fact that you can only load skyrim via steam, i can't lay until steam updates skyrim. only problem is the estimated time is 3 hours. for those of us with slow internet connections, their really should be some way around patches. [censored] lame steam. [censored] lame.

If it's patches you're concerned with, they've always been distributed via download. Granted, Steam forces you to get patches you may not want, but if you do want to be up to date, you'd still be waiting.
