Rabbit Companion

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 6:37 pm

Okay here's a little experiement I tried. (I'm going to say just now that I'm on PS3 so I didn't use mods/console commands).

I found a rabbit and cast courage on it, which (like other wildlife) should make it attack me. But a rabbit cannot physically attack you, it has no damage rating. Instead it just sort of hopped behind me, following me as I went, until a guard saw it and killed it. So I came to this:

You can have a rabbit as a temporary companion. But it won't attack anything and will be attacked by hunters, guards, other animals, and your own followers and conjured creatures.

It, of course, does nothing from a gameplay point but it might be cool for a priest or druid or wood elf or something like that.

Hadn't noticed that. While I had a look I also saw I typed Slaymore instead of claymore. Actually, now that I think about it Slaymore sounds pretty awesome!

Then after the guards kill your bunny, you can resurrect it. More mileage from your pet.

Yeah, I had actually assumed that that one was intentional. Well, it's your call now :)

Back to topic .... I think that those little, fluffy [censored]s need to be exterminated. I mean why else would your stats say the amount of bunnys slaughtered?
And this helps! Just get a bunch of bunnys and lead 'em to the city ... Voila! Instant bunny kill! It's genius! Hats off too you OP!

I don't have the self control for this. I would chop his cute bunny face off in less than ten seconds.

My sword/mage use to cast frenzy on bunnies so they would run at him instead of away to make them easier to kill. I never even noticed they couldn't attack.

Fox are funny, when they are frenzied they start howling like wolves, and make the exact same noise as a wolf when they bite. And like wolves die pretty easy.

I think it would be nice to use the dead thrall with the perk that gives it an additional 100 health. A bunny that can actually take a few hits.

What I find really strange though.... ever cast frenzy or courage on a hawk? It just dies.

There is a permenant zombie raising spell? I need to look around for that spelltome. But I might not know about that because I don't really use zombies. I just take my Soulbane and Dragonborn's Shield and bash-and-slash all my enemies. I did make a zombie once, but killed him in two seconds, and i think I heard him saying "thank you". I gave him a proper warriors blessing. :)

I'm also a big fan of zombie chickens. It cheers me up after NPCs die in a dragon attack to resurrect their slain poultry. When the little gals run to catch up to you, well, it's funny.

If you learn the master level conjuration spell "Dead Thrall" you can permanatly have a zombie rabbit follower.

Edit: or a permanant "anything" follower. Tried it on a cave bear once. [censored] awesome.

Spoiler
The perma-zombie is not a tome, it's a standing stone called The Ritual Stone. Located roughly Northeast of White River Watch. East of Whiterun and North of High Hrothgar.

The perma zombie is a tome.... You can buy it after completing the conjuration ritual quest at the college, and the quest is only offered when you have a conjuration over 90.

I haven't really played with the ritual stone but my understanding is it just creates a lot of zombies all at once.
