Say what race you think looks the best in whatever set of armor and why.

My fav is my orsimer in ebony armor with shrouded cowl hood.
His huge stature and two handed weapons with ebony armor makes him look awesome!

I am not sure what race looks best in what armor, but I tend to prefer to wear armor that is made in the race cultural style, like Steel Plate for a Nord, Orcish for Orcs and Elven for Altmer etc.

Elves look nice in Elven and Glass armor. The fantasy-ish style fits them well. (well, both of those were originally made in elven cultures)

Khajiit look great in many things. Especially Thieve's Guild armor, Dark Brotherhood armor(without the hood), and they look AMAZING in robes and hoods.

Argonians are at their best looking selves when in studded armor and just low level non-fur or leather armor in general. The studded armor looks great on them with leather boots, no head armor or hood, and some scaled gauntlets or gloves.

Dunmer would win every swimsuit contest in Dark Brotherhood armor. Why? Because the judges and everyone else would die or run for their lives. They also just look awesome in Dark Brotherhood armor.

Since Dwarven armor pretty much covers a character completely, I'd say that all characters look pretty much equal in it.

My Dunmer favored glass armor, though I can't say I ever really liked the look. But I liked the 500+ armor rating a lot. With her coloring, Ebony would have suited her better, but she's a light armor user. Dark Brotherhood armor might have been a better look.

My Imperial's best look was all steel plate, topped with the Helmet of Yngol because he wasn't a Nord and needed some help with the cold. And with his super-legendary level Smithing skills (100 + gauntlets + pendant + potion ehhanced), its armor rating was nearly 700.

And my Khajiit favors Dark Brotherhood armor, minus the hood. With his dark fur and black mane, and his lovely black horse, it's a perfect look for him. Not as well-protected, though, so I'm going to have him hire on Marcutio for extra firepower.

Black Khajiit in Oblivion looked pretty bad in Oblivion's DB armor. Though, the black on a black Khajiit looks like it was drawn on with the darkest black crayon on earth. It seems that game also had some glitch where the lighting would stick to that color... Not a pretty sight.

This. I love playing my Nords in Scale armor (though I hate the helmet). My Orcs I put in Orcish armor. My elves end up in Elven and Glass.

Imperial in Nightingale Armor with a Chef Hat is better then any armor at all!

I just got a set of the Blades armor and it looks really good on my Nord.

I like I like dragon bone armor on my Nord and Elven armor on my Redguard.
