Radios

Is it my imagination or do most of the radios you find scattered across the Fallout NV area give you only static or nothing at all?
I find very few radios that work, as a matter of fact, I don't think I've found any that work.

The only way I can seem to get a radio station is through my PipBoy.

Ummmm...yes? There are only three or four radio signals that you can receive, via the Pip Boy. Two are the permanent radio stations (Radio New Vegas and Mojave Radio). The third is the Black Mountain Radio signal and the fourth is from Camp Guardian. There may be other radio signals, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

As for the ham radios, I am not aware that turning them all on does anything, TBH.

OP is talking about the little box radios you can click on and off, NOT the HAM radios.

Yes, I've been annoyed by the fact that 95% of radios in the game only give off static. What's the point of having a radio in my hotel/motel room if it doesn't work?!
Better yet, whats the point of having a stove in my hotel/motel room IF I CAN'T [censored] COOK ON IT?!? :banghead:

The little box radios that are tuned to only one station?

Also, I second the frustration about the stoves.

None of the radios in my casino suite work, just white noise - reckon it's a bug? I've never noticed it anywhere else. It doesn't bother me too much as I can use my pip boy, but it does seem a bit weird.
And I agree about the cookers. If the fridges work, why not them?

It's a bug. They have all those radios coded to that rocket area broadcast. I forget the name, the mission where you can help the people fix their ship to fly away. Anywho, after that mission the radio just plays static. I made a mod that changes all the radios to the main station, but on consoles you are out of luck unless they patch it. Sorry for the lack of detail, I'm on my phone.

Ta, good to know :) On my next playthrough I might just give that quest a miss, although I do enjoy that one. I doubt they'll patch it, considering the more serious bugs/glitches that are about that need attention, but you never know.
