Hi All.
Wonder if any of you out there can help... I have just purchased RAGE and dont seem to be able to get it to run properly!! It will start then run for about 3-4 seconds then freeze for about 2-4 seconds, run again for 3-4seconds then freeze again for 3-4 seconds. I have updated drivers, and tweaked where I didnt even know there were tweaks! But to no avail.... I am running on a Laptop with WINDOW 7 32 BIT, AMD TURION II P560 DUAL CORE. ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4200, & 4G OF RAM.. 500G HDD. screen res set at 1366 X 768....

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I feel I've just wasted Au $80.... :swear:

I had the exact same problem.
Solution is this:

Right click on Rage icon-->properties-->shortcut-->target-->add this line after rage.exe "+jobs_numThreads 0"

also if you want a better FOV add this line too "+cvaradd g_fov 10"

Btw, I'm never buying ATI cards again, only Nvidia...
