Try this first and if all fails then do what he said ..... Verify integrity of game cache, then defragment cach files. Once done reboot and do the Verify integrity of game cache and see what it gives you. If you still have 1 file fail then uninstall the game via steam and reboot and then reinstall game via steam when you go to bed. I hope we gave you some help good luck w/ it.
Maybe steam just hates my cable then , I think it took just under 8hr to d/l Rage off Steam
