I'll try and make this quick:

I upgraded to Win7 64bit. Before I did, I copied my saves. I had several mods active. After the reinstall I copy/pasted them back. But, the ALL the mods were active instead of just some.

I started getting random freezes. I tried deactivating all my mods and I was able to play for hours and hours.

Also, since right after the Steam Workshop went up (around that time) I started getting "Steam was unable to download file! Error 2". I tried to isolate the mod that was doing this error but got it even when I deleted ALL mods.

I tried deleting all my saves from the save folder except one auto save but it did not work.

Now I have only "More Snow", "More Rain", and "Unread books glow" and just got another freeze.

I was told to try this http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#tab=Mods_and_Savegames but wanted to check and see if there could be a load priority or something.

None of these saves are "fresh". They all had mods in them at one point......which ones I don't know.

Also, after the reinstall I started a new game to create the save folder not realizing my stuff was saved on cloud. Don't know if having multiple characters or whatever can effect the game.
