I keep coming across these random iron arrows. They are perfectly vertical and are usually where I am standing when I fast travel or load a new save. And it's not just on one character, it's on all of them. It's really weird and freaky. Any explanation for this?

The gods must not like you so they shoot arrows at you but miss.

On a more serious note, I dunno man. I haven't had that happen. Arrows just pop up under you?

I've noticed that before as well, never found out the cause behind it though. Wonder if anybody on here will know be able to provide an answer.

I believe that these are arrows that have been fired by either you or a NPC and haven't been picked up. When you then leave the zone you are in and enter a dungeon/house/city etc, or save and the leave the game. The arrows then reset their position and are instead vertical. - At least, that's what I have gathered.

That makes sense.

It makes them much easier to see, especially when I use the higher quality arrows it is nice to see all the ones I missed sticking up like that when I return, and there seems no time limit on it. Someone else wants to leave their arrows I dutifully go collect them just to tidy the place up. The ones in the water splash, so they are always easy to collect.

Maybe there was an epic battle right the night before xD but I agree, that is pretty weird.
