Go ahead... if you've seen something or want to say something that's funny, strange, or ironic about F:NV post it here!

Nightkins are Purple People Eaters.

I'm going to set up a little caesers pizza franchise in the Caeser's Legion base.

The strongest you can be (ST 10) is labeled: Hercules' Bigger Cousin. (OMG that is so stupid...)

Las Vegas in spanish means the fertile plains so New Vegas (besides being an awkward combination in languages) would mean: "New Fertile Plains" - which clearly it isn't!

So the point of the thread is to reply with something one thinks is weird, stupid, funny or questionable?
Okay, Repcon. I think that in a patch later on they should include it in the Wild Wasteland trait. (No I'm dead serious.)

Fallout: New Vegas takes place in the same region as the original games, organically carries over the same factions as the first games (not splinter organizations), and has a lot of the same developers as the original games and yet it is a "spinoff".

I don't mean this to sound bitter or cynical, but it is ironic. I wonder, if Bethesda had known they would be contracting Fallout to Obsidian a few short years later, a Fallout that is comprised so strongly of elements from the "original" Fallout 3, if they would have still called their Fallout 3 "Fallout 3"?

I thought it was a stand-alone game.
Like Vice City or San Andreas.

In spite of terminology, the irony is still the same.

So you want them to remove repcon from the game and make it a wild wasteland thing? I'd be shocked if entire locations and quests were missing without wild wasteland. We're talking about an entire facility here.
