Random tremors...

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:03 pm

Anyone have any clue as to what these are? The random earthquake type controller vibrating tremors... Its not from a dragon cause there isnt one around... This has happed to me about 4 times now. Im really curious about them. The first time, i was in the mountains and thought it was an avalanche... Which wouldve been rad.. But... Nothing... Just random tremors. Whats the deal?

I've had this too, sometimes when exiting caves. As far as I know there are no giants around and no dragons show up either.

I have noticed that a Dragon, Mammoth or Giant will cause the random Tremors. I have seen enough shadows pass across the landscape that were caused by a Dragon to blame them for most of the tremors. Setting off a Boulder trap will also cause a tremor in a dungeon, most of the traps that reset will cause movement when they are set off the first time.

Sometimes in the mountains there are rock falls.

Hmm... Yeah, im pretty sure there are no giants or mammoths nearby when it happens.. Rock falls? That could be atleast one explanation.

Some areas seem to be unstable, especially near hot springs.

I thought it was the greybeards shouting. They go up the tower in their backyard now and then and practice their shout. Either that or it's the dragons landing nearby.

Giants? Mammoths? Or are you near Riften? The ground is unstable there.

It's odd, but I chalk it up to heavy wildlife moving nearby or something like that.

It's the Greybeards shouting. Hang around them long enough and you will see them practicing their shouts.
