When traveling through the wilds, I encounter ravenous goat, deer, elk and foxes. They show up as red dots on the map like they have rabies or possessed. Anybody have any idea why they are like this? I never kill foxes because they are nice and normally follow you through the wilds like they are leading you somewhere.

I think it's a spriggan. They have ability to make animals fight you. But sometimes I see this happen and I don't see any spriggans. Maybe some areas contains animals that have been programmed to be aggressive.

I haven't seen the spriggans so far just the animals that attack me. I'm not sure but I think some have a green haze about them too but not all.

If they have a green aura around them then it's for sure that a Spriggan has enthralled them. Sometimes the Spriggan go back into hiding so they can ambush you. At least, that's what happened to me a lot before I stopped playing.

Very rarely, I get a normally friendly animal who's shown as a red dot on my radar too, and doesn't have the green glow typical to Spriggan possession. It's kinda weird, they don't really attack, they just stand their ground and stare at you with killer eyes, following your every tiny move. I usually ignore them or unleash a Kyne's Peace shout if it irritates me.
