Realism?

Anyone here actually makes their character eat and sleep once in a while?

Yeah I have a few mods that require eating, drinking water, sleeping and staying warm. It also disables fast travel. It's pretty fun to ride the horse to a far away quest and stop halfway through and set up camp. The mod also includes the ability to set up a tent and campfire and cooking pot so I can sleep, eat and warm up anywhere in the world.

Nope. I starve my character. Make sure she's sleep deprived too.

Yes, but just with one specific character that I created to play this way. I'm usually not into this.

Do potions count as food?

And yes to sleeping, only because stores aren't open at night.

Sure thing. All of my character sleep at least six hours a night and about half of them substitute food for potions, either because they're wary of anything 'magical' or simply because they don't like the taste. I mean, really, would you slug down pureed chaurus eggs and giant toes? Ugh! They eat regular meals and make sure their followers get their fair share of grub as well. Crack open a bottle of Black-Briar Reserve for special occasions, too.

I do, a lot. Have to make use of your coin and food, ya know? And I like to think that I'm helping out the innkeepers with the business I bring them.

Well I don't make my character eat, but I do sleep. Often after a while of adventuring. I'll come home, empty out, potion up, etc. Then sleep until dawn. It just seems a nice way to separate adventures, and 'reset' yourself. Also, the well-rested bonus is cool I guess, although I can't remember what it does.

Yes food, drink and sleep for all my characters, but less of them for elves than humans. And never eating, drinking or using potions in the middle of battle - except one drunken warrior who has axe in one hand and bottle in another (actually can't wield bottle in a hand so he has nothing in his left hand but recovers his stamina with mead and ale).

My character will eat once in a while when it feels like it. Doesn't really eat much though, just drinks Black-Briar Mead. Sleeps when it gets dark like any other normal being. But sleep is not really needed due to being a Werewolf. Either way, still sleeps to get through the night.

Gutslit hates mead and most alcoholic drinks. He considers them to be the bleak sand water. He prefers to stick with drinking water or fruit juices. His sweet tooth inherit to Khajiiti is so strong, he has to sweeten everything. Fruit is sweet, and is what he'd rather drink. He sometimes has a skooma, but he has gone to great lengths to cut down on it due to how addicted he used to be to it.

Now food... He eats whatever, but I imagine him putting a bit of moon sugar on his food.

Now that I think of it I do sleep regularly, not for realism though, because every time I make it to town I need to sleep till the shops open and that usually happens almost every game day :P

Yes, it's a natural byproduct of my gameplay as a vampire thief/assassin.

Due to the nature of the job I'll sleep through the day on a regular basis (need shops unstaffed, victims asleep etc) and vegetable soup is my staple diet for it's very generous regen.

So you don't just use the "wait" function? I respect that. I usually only use wait if i'm waiting around some place, like i'm chillin in front of the store an hour before it opens or waiting for someone to show up at a spot. Sleeping is the way to go for realism though.

I like to play chefs and work at inns, selling my food to the inn keeper for my pay.
