All I was doing was working on some AI packages and what not, now all of the sudden I can't save my plugin. I get this warning:

MASTERFILE: Unable to complete operation due to failure removing previous file
Plugin 'Data\HelgenRebuilt.esp' may be locked or read only. (I checked the file it is not read only or locked.

Temp file 'Data\Helgen Rebuilt.tes' contains saved data.

"Yes to all" will disable all warnings for this content.

This makes me ill because I have a LOT of new work I've been adding and hate to revert to an old save.

Anybody got any ideas?

I've had that error too, usually it's because I have the game still running and trying to save. The good thing is, the CK creates a backup file called: .TES, which is the ESP if you rename it. So after you unlock the ESP (may require rebooting if it's not the game that has it locked), you can rename that TES file to ESP.

Thanks Sollar, yeah for whatever reason my file was locked in the memory somehow even though Skyrim did not show up in the task manager. I rebooted and it seems to have cleared up. (crosses fingers) That scared the bejezuz outta me, lol.
