So i bought this game on release date, played and the whole corrupt saved file really ruined the game for me. Now 7 months later All my files say "corrupt File". WAY TO RUIN A GAME. I just bought the new DLC too. playing a good 4 hours to be able to play the DLC, the game freezes. so a restart the xbox and upon return ALLLLLL my saved files literally say "corrupt file". WTFFFFFF HALF A YEAR LATER AND STILL HAS BUGS.

Are you playing it on 360? PC? or Ps3? If PC you may have a virus/missing file thats causing all your saves to become corrupted. If you have a 360, try deleting the cache and the recent patches. <- On that note, if you're using the On Demand version of FNV for the 360, are you able to delete, and re download the game? Also: If the game is installed to your HD, try uninstalling it, and re installing it.

Maybe its just me, but I read someone else have problems after downloading Honest Hearts. Maybe that DLC is bugged. I actually expect it after the mess of a game this turned out to be.

this just happened to me like a few days ago i have bout 300+ hrs of game play have a LOT of caps and weapons and now my main game saves are stuffed they wont load and my last non stuffed up save is like 150+ hrs ago i love fallout: NV but these save bugs are really starting to F#@K me off and ruining this great game

Just happened to me now. Luckily I saved 1 hour before that but still its annoying and 6-7 months later this should be fixed.

Not to be smart a but i did post on xbox forum and said i restarted my xbox. but aside from that, I have made maybe 10 Characters with probably more than 5 hrs of gameplay all to be ruin by bugs. most of them were during the early days of new vegas. Other times were because my companions would turn on me, or quest logs or quest in general would screw up. I did save multiple times but it just ruined the game for me. Like I really wanna revert to a saved file 3 hrs ago. So i just put the game away till i got the urge to play it again. Recent I got a new xbox so i just started fresh, thinking new vegas would actually be playable. Sure i got so little bugs here and there but like i said, I still got a Corrupt file log in on all my saved files. But when i go to xbox dashboard and look at my saved files, it shows all of them just fine. I have done everything (cleard cache, deleted patches, installed the game) but nothing seems to work. Really svcks cause i still havnt gotten to play the new dlc and i probably never will unless a patch comes out. Actually there is a patch coming out to fix the TONS of Bugs that came with the new DLC. How is Bestheda still coming out with DLC when the base game doesnt even work. HOW is Fallout New Vegas getting a 8.0+ average(according to game review editors) with so many bugs. I Really wish they just fix gameplay and spoke to the community about how sorry they are for releasing a broken game. I dont want anything besides a apology and the ability to play more than 5 hrs into my game without having to save every 2 mins.

So Glad Fallout 3 isnt broken.

my second character/save file has the same issues sort of, though i can load my file but it just crashes if i try and fast travel or save.
