recently i have been trying to change up theway i play and have been using the rockstedi ,it reminds me of my fav weapon on gears of war the hammer burst. right now im using rapid fire w red dot and the frag under barrel (forgot the name.) and when using the engi w weapon buff , have been doing pretty good. anybody using this weapon any tips on when using it when i change classes? because i have noticed it is only really effective when using the engi w weapon buff. or soldier w armor piercing rounds.

Its a great gun but yeh, problem is if you dont have the engy buff then you could just use another gun and do better, specialy when your not just playing against bots that stand there and lett you hit them or all bunch up.
I have used it and really liek it annd owned with ir, from all ranges, but find that the amount of time I use it to the kills I get dont match many other weapons, probably due to me not being buffed

i use it primarily for mid range now and get quite a few head shots w it. im just trying to expand my arsenal beyond the carb-9 lol.

Just gave it a shot on my engineer, works quite well. Much thanks for the tip. I've also been trying to find something to replace the Carb haha.

Welcome to the club. Even without the engie buff, the rokstedi is a beastly weapon that should NOT be taken as a joke. Same goes for my new most used- the FRKN 3K.

lol i am really trying to like the FRKN but when i use it it seems more like a clean up weapon. (i can only get kills w it when my opponent already took dmg lol). also the pause inbetween trigger pulls seems off to me would love tips on that weapon .

I use it with a UGL. shoot the nade', then finish them off with the gun, or vice versa.

These forums should flag whether we are xbox/ps/pc platform - at least we could give relevent info.

If you're on PC give the Tampa a try, slap in a high capacity mag and a muzzle-break and point and hose. Just make sure you keep moving toward the target, you'll use less bullets than a cross once your familiar w/it (not shabby on burst either).

Im on xbox. but i have always been attracted to the semi auto or single trigger pull single shot weapons in shooters for better control. the carb-9 was used alot by me because i used it more for clearing a path to an objective using the 60 round drum. but seeing as they are going to patch it ( and rightfully so) i was looking to expand my arsenal . be4 i decided to put the rapid fire on the rockstedi i actually didnt like that weapon too much because i couldnt fan the trigger like im used to. but since then everything is well lol.

It's a pretty nice Rifle.
