Weeds-quirky comedy
Sons of Anarchy- what's fought than a biker gang?

I watch all six seasons of Weeds and they all where entertaining, however I have only watched one episode of SOA but it was good.

? Layer Cake
? Snatch
? RocknRolla

Those are my personal favorites that you might like from the list you described
Some or all of them might be DVD only, but they are so worth it to take the chance to watch them.

lock stock and 2 smoking barrels & The big lewbowski are also excellent suggestions plus they are Instant Streamed (last time I check 2 weeks ago)
Hell I'll watch Lock Stock And 2 Smoking Barrels now!

Oldboy

GREAT movie, the only good live action anime movie.(IMO) even if you HATE anime, it is still worth watching.
also its dubbed (its cringe inducing at times though)

Falling Down, a crime drama starring Michael Douglas and directed by Joel Schumacher. A man tries to get to his estranged wife's house to give his daughter a birthday present..and...insane crazy crap happens. It's funny as hell.

Netflix instant:

Exam (excellent low-budget suspense/thriller set in a single room)
Frozen (low budget thriller/horror, despite some redonkulousness, for some reason I liked it)
Centurion (it's an action/chase movie, don't be fooled into thinking it's some historical Roman war movie)
Surveillance (it's weird, not for all tastes, but I liked it)

Restrepo (if you like current war documentaries)

Audition

YES!! Hammer fight scene made my day. Also Audition is so FUBAR.

If you liked Fargo, I would recommend Burn After Reading and Raising Arizona.
I also liked Ghost World.

I would also recommend Weeds.

Dexter is also a good show, but you'll only be allowed to watch the first 2 seasons through instant.

Dexter gets my vote as well it does have some quirky comedy in it.

'Law Abiding Citizen',' Doctor Who', 'Iron Man 1&2' , 'Braveheart' if it's on, and a film called '5 Minutes in heaven' if it's on there, I definitely recommend the last it's about the war in Ireland across the 70s and 80s

Watch Party Down on netflix. This is one of the funniest comedies I've seen, but unfortunately never really got mainstream success (mainly just a cult following). Check it out if you like shows like Arrested Development, Community, or The Office. Also check out Better off Ted and The League in the realm of good comedies that you may not have heard of.

I can't really recommend much movie stuff, but if you like the drama type shows that HBO has to offer, check out Breaking Bad. It's really excellent.
