Recent interesting games?

Post » Tue Nov 29, 2011 7:09 am

I'm really bored right now between studying and procrastinating, and I really need to play a game to pass the time. I played Terraria, which was great, but I went through everything in less than a week. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good games to play right now? Preferably indie games (no loading times, quick install, focusing on gameplay).

Cheers.

PS: If it's not indie but it's still good it's ok. I know about and will soon buy certain mainstream games which I have in mind (The Witcher 2 for example).

Yay, if you want INDIE and have iDevices, do download our game :D it's named Fatal League, doesn't get much more indie than that. We made it as a hobby, for free and unpaid past 18 months or so ^_^ The graphics are quite low-res and oldschool, but the game engine is what we've build to be challenging and fun.

It's a turn-based RPG battle game, where you build bigger team over the time to win the divisions and finally meet end monster :) We actually have been hanging quite high on RPG charts in Finland's App Store, and Apple gave us a "New and Noteworthy"-highlight just some days ago :)

Spelunky is great. Really addicting.

Can't think of any others right now, but if you get into Spelunky, you don't need any others.

Well, there's this little thing call Minecraft, you might have heard of it... :P

Killing Floor is pretty good too, not sure if it's indie or not.

Recently I've made some calculations and I realised that MC must have been the game I've played most in my entire life. :o

Depending on how recent you're looking for, Minecraft and Mount and Blade: Warband are nice.

Like I said, I've played MC to death. I've also played both M&B games, I love the mounted combat. :)
