Recipe question

Post » Tue May 10, 2011 5:56 pm

I have tried to use a cola bottle and I have tried the sasperilla (sp?) and neither one seems to be a "Soda bottle" that the recipe for cactus juice is looking for.

What am I suppose to be using? What does this game use as a Soda Bottle?

Also - any other tips for cooking with the campfire would be very usefulllllll!!! Thanks!

I think it means an empty soda bottle, not a full one.

"Empty Nuka-Cola Bottle" or "Empty Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottle"

Edit: Hmm... According to the wiki, though, it uses a rarer "Empty Soda Bottle" that looks exactly like an empty Nuka-Cola bottle.

Thanks for the reply - I have tried both those empty bottles and neither one (or the other) worked.

That is why I was thinking it might be a different "soda" that I had missed somewhere?

Thanks again - I will try again with one or both in inventory....

There are items labelled just "empty soda bottle" in the game (usually lying around on the floor), but they are rarer than the branded ones. You'd think any empty bottle would do!

In my opinion you should save your Prickly Pear Fruit for Bloatfly Sliders, which heal more than Cactus Water if I'm not mistaken. Bloatflies are also easier to find than the Empty Soda Bottles.
