Recreating Sylvannas Windrunner

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:34 pm

No, I'm not a WoWer, though I do enjoy the world and lore of Warcraft. For whatever reason, after recreating Ezio and Fenris, I'm interested in Sylvannas. I hope a few people of the community is familiar with her, as I need help.

I'm lost on which race to choose. A dark elf fits her skin tone and build, but the faces of dark elf females are... Ick. I may go with a very pale Imperial. Obviously, archery is a must, as is perhaps a few necromancer-esque spells. The hardest part is the clothing/attire. I figured Daedric Boots and Gloves would work, but I can't think of anything to march her torso. Mreh.

If you have any advice for a build/equipment, please, let me know. e.e

She's an elf, so obviously pointy ears are a must. Dark elf I'd say is the best option, but if you don't like it try altmer or bosmer.

For skills, archery, all the perks in the necromancy branch of conjuration including the double summon perk, alchemy (for poisons), and maybe illusion (she's a banshee after all... you could pretend that frenzy=possess). You could use the ritual stone as well (though I've never used it so I don't really know how it works).

I don't see how you could do it with anything other than a Dunmer. You will just have to massage her face and accept it for what it is, she is a dead elf after all.

You're probably gonna have to wait for the CK and some good retextures to get armor and what not. If you wait long enough I'm sure someone will come out with a "WoW character pack" to bring all your favorites to Nirn.

Sylvanna Windrunner is an undead Blood Elf well versed with a bow, demon magic (summoning) and mind magic (illusion).

Ideal Race: Bosmer (+10 Archery) or Altmer (+10 Illusion, +5 Conjuration). Just give her a darker skin tone.
Skills: Archery, Conjuration, Illusion and Restoration (substitute for her drain life ability). Sneak would probably be good but if not then put a few points into Light Armour to boost survival.

I would suggest doing the Boethia quest for the Ebony Mail. It has that swirly black mist effect that reminds me of death knights. It's heavy armour but it makes no noise at all.

Playstyle: You have a few options. Use illusion to make them wipe each other out then shoot down the stragglers or raise an undead minion or summon an creature to distract them while you shoot them from a safe distance.

That's the best I can come up with. ;)

shes technically a high elf ranger that was turned into a banshee. you could go with high elf vampire to fit the race or wood elf vampire to fit the class, since there are no wood elves in warcraft lore wood elf seems the most appropriate i think. dark elf would fit the skin tone but that doesnt fit into warcraft type lore at all. but she'd need to be an archer anyways. i imagine thats about as far as there is to go. i only say vampire to fit te banshee theme since tats the closest you can get to it in thhis game, being undead and all.

You can try Bella's Faces mod to help with the "icky" Dunmer face issue. A Dunmer vampire archer is about as close as you're going to get....
